Starting over is tough. OPARasa understands how stressful it can be following addiction treatment; to establish a living situation, to gain employment, to take care of basic needs and to continue after care.

It’s challenging to maintain a sense of self-worth while identifying employment opportunities, applying, and interviewing – often for jobs that offer low or no growth opportunities.

The OPA RASA program offers candidates a streamlined experience and access to professional career opportunities, career development, and training with our affiliated companies to set people on the path to rebuilding their lives – not just surviving.

IDENTIFY

OPA RASA collects referrals from recovery program partners as well as applications from recovery program candidates.

EVALUATE

We will review applications and perform interviews with the candidate’s treatment providers. Our evaluation criteria emphasizes the demonstration of and desire for developmental and professional rigor. Our high expectation model sets expectations for quality of work and professional behavior.

NOVITIATE

Acceptance into the program, participants will receive orientation, establish performance goals, and begin professional training as part of a trial period. Based upon performance aligned with our model, OPA RASA will assign a professional opportunity within an affiliated company.

PAID APPRENTICE

Assignments are up to 2 years (24 months) in length. During this time, participants will continue professional training while developing valuable experience – building out their resume – in a recovery sensitive work environment.

PLACE

As participants complete the OPA RASA program, ongoing support is provided to develop professional networks and obtain certifications (if applicable) to continue their success. This enables opportunities for career placement including:

Possible conversion to full time employment within an OPA RASA affiliate business
Placement within an OPA RASA business partner
Employment within another organization outside of the OPA RASA network

Under special circumstances, OPA RASA affiliate companies may offer participants with outstanding performances, an opportunity to learn how to run and operate a business. This could lead to a once in a lifetime opportunity to invest, purchase and own an OPA RASA affiliate business.
